After lunch we caught the Metro over a stop near the dentist office. When we got off the metro we had about 20 minutes before we had to be at the office, so we stopped at the Parc Monceau to sit and enjoy the pleasant weather. The daffodils are blooming in the park and several trees are in bloom as well. We just sat and enjoyed watching the people enjoying the park.

Daffodils in February?! Does spring in Paris start much earlier than in the US? Not officially, of course ... just weather.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think it had ever really frozen here, but Deb says otherwise. My understanding has been that frost damage doesn't hit until the temp gets down to around 27-28 degrees and we've not come near that since we got here. So things just bloom lots earlier
ReplyDeleteOur daffodils are budding and our cyclamen are beginning to bloom. This is what happens in February in places that don't have snow in the winter. We got several hard freezes but the go away quickly.
