All Quiet on the Paris Front 8-10-15

Today was a day for undone tasks, Deb wanted to catch up on apartment cleaning and I had to do so chores that I'd been putting off for a while.

When I went to the doctor a couple weeks ago he gave me a medical order for a blood test, I send this to my doctor in the U.S. as a 6 month followup, and told me to take it to a medical laboratory.  He said my pharmacy could tell me where one was located, but since it's right next door to my pharmacy I didn't need to ask.  When I got there they asked me if I had eaten, and of course I had so no joy, come back tomorrow.

My next destination was the barbershop for a haircut and beard trim.  My shop is staffed by either Indian or Pakistani barbers and they are very good, Western Coiffure if you need a haircut in Paris.   This is my third visit and Deb says that they really know their business. Plus it's very inexpensive 12 euros for a scissor haircut w/ straight razor edging, and a scissor cut beard trim.  Those are Great Clips numbers.

After finishing up I went to a local cafe/bar and had lunch as I didn't want to disrupt Deb's momentum for the day.   I had a nice 13 euro lunch w/ beer and watched the activity on the street go by.   Then back to the apartment, I was going to make a small trip somewhere in town but when I looked it was almost 16:00 (4 pm) and I would have been out and about quite late then.   Deb finished up and we had a tomato/bread salad with burrata cheese that had been marinating for the last 24 hours for a delightful and light dinner.
